Volunteering with Girl Guides WA offers a wealth of benefits, both personal and communal. Casual Volunteering
A Casual Volunteer is any Adult (including all parents, presenters, and members of the public) who volunteer at a unit meeting or activity on an occasional basis. A Casual Volunteer cannot attend any overnight stays or provide assistance that is likely to result in unsupervised access to Youth Members.
Individuals dropping off or picking up Guides, watching a Promise Ceremony, or attending a Unit presentation, and not actively participating with Guiding activities, are not classified as Casual Volunteers.
