Our Organisational Structure
Girl Guides Western Australia is an autonomous organisation which manages its affairs based on the Girl Guides Western Australia Constitution
with accepted practices and policies set out in
Guide Lines. Guide Lines details the requirements of the organisation and incorporates policy, rules of Girl Guides Australia and WAGGGS. The Girl Guides Western Australia State Council directs the general policy of the Association, providing vision and policy decisions.

Would you like to be involved in the vision and policy body for Girl Guides Western Australia? If the answer is yes, please think about nominating for a vacancy on the Board.
The Board is the vision and policy setting body with responsibility for directing the general policy and general supervision of the affairs of Girl Guides Western Australia. The Board has the overall responsibility for the governance of the organisation.
To succeed in the role, candidates will need to:

Be prepared to ask questions to expand your knowledge or for clarification

Be prepared to make decisions with due care and diligence

Be prepared to learn about the Governance of GGWA
