Girl Guide uniforms, badges, books, accessories and special items can be ordered online, by fax, phone or by visiting Guide Gear at Guide House, 168 Burswood Road, Burswood.

Uniforms

Girl Guides have a formal uniform plus other articles of clothing which allow for individuality. There are many uniform combinations to choose from. Leaders have details of what should be worn on which occasion.

Q. Where can I buy my daughter’s Girl Guide uniform?
A. From Guide Gear, 168 Burswood Road, Burswood or on-line

Q. When is Guide Gear open to the public?
A. Guide Gear is open every Thursday from 1 to 7pm, every Friday from 9am to 4.30pm and the first Saturday of each month from 10am to 1pm. 

Q. What do I need to buy for my daughter’s uniform and how much does it cost?
A. The basic uniform is a polo shirt, dark blue bottoms (skirt, pants, culottes), hat, bag and sash costing approximately $80-$95 depending on sizes. Prices are subject to change.

Q. Can I buy second hand uniforms from Guide House?
A. No, but please ask your Leader as they may have surplus uniforms and gear. Parents are encouraged to donate their children’s uniforms as they grow, to assist younger girls coming through.
