Girl Guide Governance

Girl Guides Western Australia is an autonomous Association which manages its affairs based on the Girl Guides WA Constitution, with accepted practices and policies set out in Guide Lines.

Guide Lines details the requirements of the Association and incorporates policy, organisation and rules of Guides Australia, and WAGGGS.

The State Council of Guides WA directs the general policy of the Association, providing vision and policy decisions. The WA State Council works with the Executive Committee, that directs the ongoing and daily operations of Girl Guides Western Australia.

The WA State Commissioner is appointed by a combined State Council and the Executive Committee. An Administration Manager (State Executive Officer) is appointed by the Executive Committee.
