Storylines, All Saints' College Literature Festival, 17-19 March 2010
Girl Guides WA are delighted to continue their sponsorship of the Writers' Competition for the All Saints' College Literature Festival.
Since 2002, the Festival has provided growing opportunities for students in Western Australia to focus on the value literature brings to our everyday lives. The Festival supports all forms of literacy from story-telling, illustration, writing and drama-studies with an exceptional list of presenters from interstate and Western Australia. Girl Guides worldwide say "education opens doors for all girls and boys" and the Writers’ Competition is a key part of the Festival. It is open to all students in WA from Year 1 to 12. This is a great opportunity for all ages to unlock their imagination and be part of the exciting world of storytelling.
Even if your school is not participating, Guides can enter the competition. The closing date is Thursday, 1 April. Click here for a copy of the entry form.
