Sally Carlton Library

This resource collection for Girl Guide Leaders is housed at Guide House in Burswood. Currently the Girl Guide Librarian is Aileen Steele. To contact the Librarian, direct an email to Guide House.

The Guide Library is named after Mrs Sally Carlton who was Superintendent of the Australian Land Army in WA during the World War II. Sally was involved with the Girl Guides and conducted training sessions for the Women's Australian National Services (WANS) officers. Initially supervisor, she was later titled State Superintendent.
