Girl Guide Challenges

Challenges add to the fun and interest of Guiding, they involve

  -   finding out more about something

  -   discovering a better way to do something

  -   having a go at something which is not easy

  -   trying to improve and add to your skills.

 

Being a Girl Guide gives girls lots of opportunities to challenge themselves and earn awards and badges. A few of the Challenges are described here.

Guiding World Be Prepared
Outdoors Health and Fitness
Friendship Science and Technology
Faith Awareness Life Skills

Details of these Challenges are in the Girl Guide booklet 'Look Wide', available from Guide Gear at Guide House, and online.

Peak Achievement Awards

Details of these awards are in the Guide booklet 'Aim High'. For those Girl Guides 18 and under looking for extra challenges, the Junior B-P (Baden Powell), B-P and Queen’s Guide Awards are available. Guides can talk with their Leaders to learn more about  taking on these Challenges.
