Girl Guides WA operates two commercial accommodation sites in Western Australia.

Our Barn

Located in Ford Street, York (92 km east of Perth and approx 105 minutes), site offers:

   -    one large dormitory with 16 bunks (32 beds)

   -    two bedrooms with twin beds in each

   -    bedding supplied (pillow and blankets)

   -    fully equipped communal kitchen

   -    dining room seats 48 people on tables of 8 with benches

   -    shower block with 4 showers and 4 toilets                                            

   -    separate ablution facilities for adults

   -    reverse-cycle air conditioning in dormitory, dining room and activity room

   -    gas heaters are also available in some rooms

May Yates Campsite

The campsite is located along the coast road between Busselton and Dunsborough, 240 km south of Perth. The facility offers a comfortable Camp House with:

   -    one dormitory which sleeps 20

   -    one bedroom with 4 single beds

   -    fully equipped communal kitchen for up to 50 (including cutlery and crockery)

   -    shower block (3 showers and 4 toilets)

   -    there is also a camping area and tents available, plus a marquee, ovens, outdoor kitchen equipment.

Accommodation fees are $8 per person per day for both House Camps and Canvas Camps. For non-Girl Guides members, there is an additional $5 per person per day contibution to 'Friends of May Yates'.
