How to buy online and our refunds policy

Payment

Payments can be made on-line by credit card (Mastercard or Visa), by cash if you are collecting your order directly from the shop, or by Guide Unit cheque. No personal cheques are accepted. If you are a Leader using a Guide cheque, please make the cheque payable to Girl Guides WA and post to:

                 Girl Guides WA, PO Box 780, Victoria Park WA 6979

All on-line payments use a secure encryption process.

Postage

All on-line orders are posted on Fridays. This means that your order should be dispatched within 1-5 working days, depending on when your order was placed.

Orders within Australia are posted with Australia Post. However, you may request an alternative courier service in which case we will only charge you the amount that the service charges us.

For cheque payments, please remember to include postage costs which can be obtained by clicking on the 'Calculate Shipping' button at the bottom of the Shopping Cart page. Orders placed without sufficient postage will not be dispatched until the correct postage is paid.

For more information about your order, please refer to the confirmation email that you will receive from us.

Out of Stock Items

If any item that you order is not in stock, we will advise you of the time delay and send the goods as soon as they are available. If the timeframe is too long, please advise and we will cancel your order.

For all deliveries within Australia, you will pay only one delivery fee per order, irrespective of separate deliveries if some items are not available for shipment at the same time.

Refunds and Returns

Please choose carefully as we do not normally give refunds if you change your mind.

If the goods are faulty, wrongly described or different from a sample shown to you, you can choose between a refund, an exchange or a store credit. Your request for a refund needs to be accompanied by proof of purchase and any claims should be raised with Guide Gear within 21 days of receipt of goods. Items that have been used, worn or are not in original condition cannot be refunded or replaced.
If returning goods by post, please include a copy of your proof of purchase, an explanation for returning the goods and whether you require an exchange, refund or credit. Please package carefully and send to:

No refund can be given on badges.
We are unable to refund freight/shipping charges, except in circumstances where the goods are faulty, have been inaccurately described or do not match the sample shown.
If necessary, you may cancel all or part of your order, provided you contact us before you receive notification that the order has been dispatched. If you need to cancel or update your order, please contact us on (08) 9355 3744 or by email.
